What is the allocation & supply schedule for Guild of Guardians (GOG) ?
The Guild of Guardians (GOG) token, also known as Gems, has a maximum cap set at 1 billion tokens. The distribution of these tokens is planned as follows:
- Player Rewards: 35% (350 million tokens)
- Community Rewards: 28% (280 million tokens)
- Developers: 20% (200 million tokens)
- Guardians Guild Limited: 6% (60 million tokens)
- Public Sale: 6% (60 million tokens)
- Private Sale: 5% (50 million tokens)
This allocation is designed to support the game's ecosystem by rewarding players, the community, and developers while ensuring the long-term growth and sustainability of the game.
The circulating supply of GOG tokens is managed to incentivize long-term involvement in the game. For instance, tokens from the private sale are set to unlock over 30 months with a 12-month cliff, whereas tokens allocated to developers will unlock over 48 months, also with a 12-month cliff. This staggered unlocking schedule aims to distribute the tokens gradually to maintain a balanced economy within the game.
Moreover, a significant portion of tokens (350 million) is reserved for player rewards, which will be distributed based on players' gaming behaviors and achievements. These tokens will be released daily from a smart contract, ensuring active and dedicated players are rewarded for their engagement in the game. Additionally, community rewards, amounting to 280 million tokens, will be distributed on a discretionary basis to support various activities that add value to the game's ecosystem, such as content creation, referrals, and community participation.
Tokenomics and unlock schedules also include specific details for early backers and public sales, highlighting the project's strategy to engage its initial supporters and broader community. For instance, during the CoinList ICO, a portion of the tokens was made available with certain unlocking conditions, reflecting the team's intent to manage the initial distribution carefully and support price stability as the project grows.
