HashKey Capital and Decrypt Launch Layer East Media Alliance, Bringing Together Leading Crypto Media in the Asia-Pacific Region

ayer East Media is a collaborative network aimed at bringing together the top Web3 media in the Asia-Pacific region to help Western projects navigate and thrive in the area. On November 9, 2024, global digital asset leader HashKey Capital and Web3 news media Decrypt announced the launch of Layer East Media, an alliance that gathers the most influential Web3 media in the Asia-Pacific region. Council members include leading blockchain media from the Asia-Pacific region and beyond, such as Decrypt, Crypto Times, and Coinpost. Layer East Media will sign a memorandum of understanding (MOU) and officially launch on November 10, 2024, during Thailand Blockchain Week, focusing on helping Western Web3 projects expand and develop their business in the Asia-Pacific region. The alliance will assist companies in overcoming challenges related to understanding the diverse business environment of the Asia-Pacific and will aid in sharing relevant news. Layer East Media will become the preferred information hub for Web3 media, innovative brands, investors, and policymakers. Decrypt co-founder Ilan Hazan stated that this alliance redefines the role of media in the Web3 era. HashKey Capital's head of marketing Siya Yang believes this is a significant turning point for Web3 media. The three founding principles of the alliance include increasing transparency, empowering innovators and investors, and fostering collaboration. Council members will have access to exclusive content, interviews, industry insights, collaborative projects, and more. Web3 companies will benefit from direct media exposure and widespread dissemination. Starting in 2025, the alliance will participate in major crypto, Web3, and fintech events and collaborate with top venture capital firms and communities.
