DeepBook is a decentralized central limit order book (CLOB) designed for the Sui blockchain ecosystem. It serves as the primary liquidity layer for Sui's DeFi applications, providing a robust trading platform that supports both limit and market orders. DeepBook is built to leverage Sui’s high-performance architecture, offering low latency, high throughput, and deep liquidity, which ensures minimal slippage for users trading digital assets on the network.
The platform is open-source and permissionless, allowing developers to integrate its liquidity layer into their decentralized applications (dApps). This has made it a key infrastructure for various Sui-based protocols like KriyaDEX and Turbos.Finance. DeepBook's transparency, security audits, and open governance make it an essential part of the Sui DeFi ecosystem, enabling a wide range of trading strategies while keeping users in control of their assets.
In October 2024, DeepBook introduced its native token, DEEP, which will play a role in governance and offer fee discounts for users.
